Students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are educated in mixed groups. A nurture group is available for vulnerable students in Key Stage 3 (KS3). Staff are trained in the working with students with ASD and the general ethos of the school builds the confidence and self esteem of the students. This is seen as crucial to the development of students with ASD. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the students.
