Ambleside is a detached property situated in the market town of Stowmarket within easy reach of the town shopping centre and all local amenities. It is set within its own enclosed garden which gives children the room to play in a safe environment. Registered with Ofsted for children from 7 to 18 years, it has been awarded an outstanding in its last two inspections. Ambleside has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and caters for the therapeutic needs of up to four children at any one time. With careful assessment and consideration given to each client's individual needs. This is reflected in the way care and support is given to each individual client to acknowledge and respect their individuality and autonomy making this an ideal environment for personal growth. Children are able to stay with the same group each time they visit us and with clear shared targets set for each individual child. It is an opportunity for them to experience sleeping away from home in a safe supervised environment and allows them to mix with other children and form friendships they would not otherwise have, whilst at the same time allowing for their parents to have a complete break from caring, safe in the knowledge that there child in being cared for to the highest possible standards.
