Autism Service Directory

Anna Abulafia

Main information

Type of service: Counsellor, Interventions and therapies

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist offering online sessions via zoom. I offer a warm, non-judgmental and confidential space in which you can talk freely and openly about your life, worries and stresses. I have a particular interest and experience in supporting people with anxiety, people on the autism spectrum or on the path to diagnosis, and carers.

I have a Masters in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy (University of Roehampton) and I am BACP Accredited (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have experience working in the NHS, in a GP surgery, and in a counselling agency. For the last five years, alongside my private practice, I have managed a counselling service for an autism charity and I have a particular interest in supporting people on the autism spectrum and their families. It is really important that you feel comfortable with your therapist. I offer a free, no-obligation initial half-hour session so that you can decide whether I am the right therapist for you. During this session, you can tell me a little about yourself and what you hope to get from therapy. I can also answer any questions you may have.
