I am a qualified Therapeutic Counsellor (MSc, BSc, BACP and BPS reg) specialising in autism and neurodiversity. I offer a relational approach to counselling and psychotherapy that is based around understanding what you need from therapy and for you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your past and your current situation. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. I believe that by gaining insight into past life experiences and how they may be impacting on the here and now you can begin to move forward and build the relationships around you. My practice is inclusive and welcoming to people of all abilities, ages, ethnicities, faiths, genders, nationalities, and sexual orientations. I have experience and an interest in anxiety depression eating disorders grief and loss neurodiversity (autism, ADHD, dyslexia and dyspraxia) relationship issues (partner, family, friends, colleagues) sense of self / self-esteem. Therapy is a bit like a structured conversation where you can speak freely about your life without judgement. It isn’t always necessary to have a problem to focus on, sometimes it can be helpful to reflect on how you are thinking and feeling about your values, experiences and relationships. Therapy can provide the space to grow self-awareness, develop personally and achieve your potential.
II accept members from anywhere in the UK and other countries, as long as there is no legal restriction to me providing counselling. I am only able to provide counselling in English. Note: Due to State licensing restrictions, I do not work with clients in the USA or Canada.
