Argyll House is a residential care home in Swindon for 5 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. It is situated towards the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and is close to local shops and amenities and leisure facilities. The home comprises of a lounge and dining room, kitchen, office and 3 en suite bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 further en suite bedrooms on the first floor. Argyll House also has a conservatory that leads out onto a safe enclosed garden with a fully heated summerhouse equipped with specialised sensory equipment for stimulation and relaxation. Individuals living at Argyll House all receive: A carefully planned transition to support them in their move; Individualised 24 hour care within a safe and attractive environment; Ongoing psychology and psychiatric input to support their emotional and behavioural needs; A bespoke programme of activities to promote on-going personal development. Referrals can be made by a Social Worker/Care Manager or directly from parents themselves. However, before assessment can take place the Care Manager acting on behalf of the service user must be consulted.
