We are a parent lead support group for parents and carers of young people with ASD. We are assisted by various professionals (from CAHMS, from Local Education, SENDIASS etc.). We currently meet via Zoom once a month during term time (on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 10.30 - 12). We normally have a presentation or topic given by a professional, then time for Q&A or just general chat. Presentations and other documents are shared with the whole group so those that cannot attend meetings still get the information. I keep an email list and also send on any information that I receive, as well as reminders. We have recently started a WhatsApp group where parents can chat without any professionals being a part of it.
