The Autism team offers a person-centred approach, supporting families who have a child with an autistic spectrum condition, aged 5-15 and who live in Stockport. The team is able to work in both homes and schools providing a range of help and support with issues such as behaviour management, communication strategies and explaining the diagnosis. The team run a monthly parent support group and deliver a range of training packages. The team also run social activities via the Aiming High project. All referrals must come to the project on a Common Assessment Framework (CAF).
