Aylesbury Further Education (FE) College offers a range of vocational and academic courses for students aged 16 and over. Our learning support team can offer a range of support to students with disabilities to help them to access the course and achieve. This could include in class support, out of class support, time out facility, loan of specialist equipment, assistive technology, exam access arrangements and material adaptations. Age range: 16 years upwards. Referrals: Students, parents or schools can contact us directly to make a referral at any time; The Life Skills Centre at Aylesbury College: The Life Skills Centre is a provision set up to help young adults with learning difficulties to develop the skills to live and work more independently. It has been created as a joint venture between the college and Buckinghamshire County Council to support students with learning difficulties to live and learn in their local community. Students follow individual timetables that are based around their long-term goals. The Life Skills Centre is a separate building on the Aylesbury College Site. Students can access the college but the majority of learning takes place in the centre or in their local community. Age range: 16-24 years. Referrals: via Buckinghamshire County Council and Connexions.
