We provide fostering and support care for disabled children across Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire. Our team has developed expertise in both short break and long term placements. This service supports families by ensuring that they can have regular breaks, safe in the knowledge that their child is being well cared for. We recruit, assess, train and support carers to provide a range of family based short breaks, ranging from a couple of hours to regular weekends. We aim to support disabled children and young people by ensuring that they access good quality support services and by influencing other individuals, organisations and processes. Sometimes it is no longer possible for a young person to remain with their birth family. In these rare cases we seek long term foster carers who will help the young person to keep in touch with their families and support them into adulthood. We work closely with young people and their families to ensure that the child is matched with an appropriate carer
