We are a mainstream junior school serving Barwell and surrounding villages. Most children transfer to us from Barwell Infant school but we often have children who start with us from other schools when transitioning from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2. Inclusion is a top priority for us and we work hard to create a school where we do not have to make a lot of adjustments for our children because our school works for all.
We want our school to be at the heart of the community and to support those within it to flourish. Whilst having high expectations both academically and behaviourally, we believe that the best way to achieve this is by treating children as individuals and nurture their mind, body and spirit.
