Through volunteers, BeFriends offers befriending support to disadvantaged children and young people local to Dundee, developing their life skills and improving their well-being. BeFriends is a Dundee based charity established in 1981. Over the years we have provided help and support to thousands of vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Dundee. Our One-to-One befriending is a platform of support to young people between, the ages of five and twenty five experiencing hardship. Our befriending offers an experience totally focused on the young person, their well being and their growth, most importantly its an avenue of social engagement and fun for the young person. We also run age specific evening groups for young people. Accepts members from Dundee City.

Specialisms: Exclusively autism specific

Other specialisms: Run several evening groups through the week to encourage social engagement amongst the young people, helpers and staff.
