Main information

Type of service: Interventions and therapies

BIS-net is a new project funded by the National Lottery 'Reaching Communities Fund' which hopes to establish a range of behavioural support services for parents and carers, as well as creating a better network of understanding and support within the local community for behavioural based difficulties and disabilities. Many individuals with behavioural support needs are isolated and overlooked by community settings and their access to society is limited. BIS-net can help by increasing awareness and understanding within the local community, as well as providing support for parents, carers and those individuals themselves to manage and cope with difficult, challenging or aggressive behaviours. Independent expert reports can be provided and we can make home visits or visit a clients nursery, school or college. We currently offer the following services: RDI Family Consultation, Behaviour Support Enabling, Behaviour Support Consultation, Bespoke Behaviour Support.
