We work with all pupils who are school age, from primary through to secondary, and assist with transitions in Further Education and work placements. We offer advice, monitoring and assessment of pupils in educational settings. We have links with CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) and many other agencies which include Autism Initiatives and Adult Services. We work closely with leisure services and run a youth club for young people with Asperger syndrome. We have an Autism Working party dedicated to developing the service and attend local North West partnership meetings. We deliver a full training programme in autism which includes a university accredited course. We also deliver training in severe learning difficulties.
