Boxgrove House is a large purpose built detached home situated within its own spacious grounds, in a picturesque setting overlooking the Pangbourne Downs. It is a spacious house registered for 10 and provides residential care for adults with moderate to severe learning disabilities, sensory impairments and associated complex needs in a quiet safe rural location. Seven of the bedrooms are on the ground floor, six of which have en suite facilities. There are two additional spacious bathrooms, one of which is specially designed and adapted. Additional accommodation and resources include: three living areas for leisure, privacy, games, music and meetings and a spacious dining room. Boxgrove House aims to enable people to live as fulfilling a life as possible, by providing care and support and advice to give individuals the opportunities to develop daily living skills, independence, community participation and decision making about their own future. Referrals can be made by a Social Worker/Care Manager or directly from parents themselves. However, before assessment can take place the Care Manager acting on behalf of the service user must be consulted.
