An organisation set up to represent, support and co-ordinate Camphill Communities in Scotland. Camphill communities have volunteer co-workers who live, learn and work together with disabled people, young and old. The role of Camphill Scotland is to support the Scottish communities in their work by: making representations to the Scottish Executive, the UK Government and other national bodies; providing information and advice on legislative changes to communities; providing an information service to communities and members of the public; supporting communities in responding to the changing needs for services; co-ordinating the development of initiatives of mutual interest to communities.
