Cantonian High School (HS) has a base that children who have an autism spectrum condition (ASC) are able to access. The base offers support during lessons & unstructured times. The pupils are expected to attend some lessons in the mainstream, but for some a differentiated curriculum is offered in the base. Other interventions, approaches & programmes offered by the school are social & emotional skills programmes. Autistic base within a mainstream school. Children use the base on a needs basis and during break/lunch times.
