Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Nursery and pre-schools, Outreach - education, Schools

Within Carlibar Campus we have two specialist provisions: Pre School Assessment and Development Unit (PSADU) and the Carlibar Communication Centre (CCC). Both of these units help children with language and communication difficulties, social interaction, social progress and/or autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). Pupils attending the CCC integrate at lunchtimes, services and assemblies and special events when appropriate. Pupils are supported in a gradual build up of integration sessions with a view to a full time place in Carlibar Campus or their local primary. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
