Carrongrange School is Falkirk Council's only secondary school for pupils with moderate, severe and complex additional support needs. It is a purpose-built special school, opened in 2000, situated in the centre of Larbert, 3 miles from Falkirk town centre. The pupils are taught and supported by skilled and experienced teachers and support staff who are committed to meeting their individual needs, and to making sure that they can all work at their own pace. Whenever possible young people on the autism spectrum are integrated with their peers and given the necessary support to enable them to fully benefit from their educational experience.
