CAYP Psychology is a specialist psychological healthcare service for Children, Adolescents and Young People (CAYP). We offer professional and effective psychological assessment and intervention for a wide range of social, emotional, behavioural, psychological and academic difficulties.

We specialise in psychological therapies, intellectual and learning ability assessments, and specialist assessments for autism and ADHD. We are really proud of our assessments. Our experienced and competent team complete these to the highest of standards, and certainly within NICE-guidelines. Our team are made up of clinical psychologists, speech and language therapists, neurodevelopmental specialists, forensic and counselling psychologists and psychiatrists. We use the most up-to-date tools, including the ADOS-2, the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), the Developmental Diagnostic Dimensional Interview (3Di), the Qb Check, the ACE clinical interview, and a range of other gold-standard diagnostic tools.

Our assessments certainly involve close liaison with your child's school or education setting, and we will review any previous reports and correspondence. Each of our assessments are written up into a detailed and comprehensive report, which we will share with you at a feedback meeting before it is sent out. And, we're proud to have arrangements with many NHS trusts and services, and independent providers for ongoing care and support.

CAYP Psychology offers clinics across the UK. We are able to offer these assessments across the North West and North East, Yorkshire, the West Midlands, North and East London, and the South East. We're also in Scotland, in Glasgow and Ayrshire. We can also travel to you, as home visits are possible too.
