ChatterBug Speech and Language Therapy is a social enterprise based in Leeds. Our services are available across the nation and hubs in Halton Borough, Scarborough and Leicester! Our passionate team consists of Speech and Language Therapists and Communication and Language Specialists (CALS), with over 40 years of experience combined specialising in assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of paediatric language and communication difficulties. We use a variety of engaging techniques to support our clients and schools with high quality, evidence-based support. We believe in delivering tailored Speech and Language provision that makes a difference and we hold our clients at the heart of everything we do. Our services are catered to people on the autism spectrum and/or people with Dysphagia, Developmental Language Disorder, Selective Mutism, Social Communication Difficulties, Stammering, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

At Chatterbug, we felt it necessary to launch our own  Autism Assessment Panel, to provide an easy, straightforward process with additional opt in services, to allow us to support families even further. 

This service works with individuals who have a range of difficulties which are impacting their language and communication and/or social interaction and is suitable for children and young people where a diagnosis such as autism is being considered. 

Children will be assessed by our team of multiple healthcare professionals allowing us to fully establish the nature of their difficulties and provide an appropriate diagnosis - this may not always be an autism diagnosis.
