Autism Service Directory

Childhood Tumour Trust

Main information

Type of service: Family support and information services, Holidays

Neurofibromatosis Type 1 (NF1) is more prevalent than Cystic Fibrosis, Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and Huntingtons Disease combined. Complications may include: Social Skill Difficulties (e.g. Autistic Spectrum Disorder). We organise camps in the UK and in the USA for children with NFI to get together under non-clinical conditions. We encourage families to meet and just talk about everything you need to talk about and campaign for better awareness and care in the medical world and educational world.
