Clackmannanshire Primary Schools' Support Service

Clackmannanshire Council

Main information

Type of service: Outreach - education

The Primary School's Support Service (P.S.S.S.) is located within the Park Primary Campus. Our service adopts an holistic approach to individual needs and delivers a service to pupils, parents and all primary schools within the region. Flexible and responsive methods are utilised within the service to support primary school aged children with additional support needs, experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties through onsite and outreach provision. The multidisciplinary team includes teaching staff, support workers, supervisory assistants and a home school liaison officer as well as management and administration onsite. A limited number of places are available within the support base to support pupils off site and facilitate their return to mainstream schools wherever possible.
