Norton Fitzwarren

Main information

Type of service: Play and leisure

The Conquest Centre is a leading Somerset charity dedicated to providing a range of activities centred around horses to adults and children with a wide range of disabilities. They are open six days a week following the academic term times, offering riding tuition for both disabled and able-bodied clients. All activities are supervised by trained instructors who in turn are supported by a team of volunteers. During school holidays the Centre hosts additional special events that they are unable to offer at other times. These include Stable Days, Pony Club Events and sensory/back riding days. The Centre was purpose built and has been modernised and improved as the charity has expanded to ensure that they provide the best facilities possible.
