Cosgrove Care - Supported Living Service

Cosgrove Care

Main information

Type of service: Supported living schemes

Cosgrove Care has been providing supported accommodation since the early sixties and this is the core activity from which all other aspects of Cosgrove’s services have developed. Support was initially offered on the traditional residential home support model and has now developed into more individual care packages in line with the current Care Commission guidelines. Currently we offer supported living accommodation in eight different locations where individuals have their own tenancies and are supported by staff 24 hours a day. Accommodation ranges from flats where service users have their own rooms but also shared, communal areas, to single occupancy or self-contained flats which may be used on a temporary or respite basis. Accommodation has been adapted to meet the needs of our service users which can include physical as well as learning disabilities, and also specific dietary requirements that respect individuals’ culture and faith.
