Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

This is a mainstream primary school with an autism-specific provision called the ELF-Enhanced Learning Facility. The school supports children mostly from the Crieff area although pupils from outwith Crieff may be placed by the Authority according to individual circumstances. This facility is situated within the Early Years part of the building. It offers support for children between ages 5 and 11 years who have been diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. The facility has been specially designed and equipped to meet specific needs and includes a small multi-sensory room. It focuses on building skills and strategies to help pupils cope with social and personal relationships thus enabling them to interact as fully as possible with their peers and the outside world.
