The name of the unit set up by Wrexham County Borough Council to support pupils with statements of autism is the Communications Centre. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. Other extra curriculum activities provided by the school are residential trips and links with local Colleges. There are two teachers and ten Teaching Assistants (TAs).
