Copdock

Main information

Type of service: Holidays

Dimensions is the second largest social care organisation in the country supporting both adults and children with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, or those that display challenging behaviours and mental health issues. Dimensions has over 30 years of experience and is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Dimensions - Buddies is experienced with supporting children and their families. It first provided a holiday scheme in Essex 11 years ago. Buddies Go camping is an overnight short break for disabled children, aged 8-19 years, providing children the opportunity to take part in activities. They experience being away from home, being outdoors and developing relationships with their peers. Buddies school clubs are school holiday clubs for disabled children. By understanding what it is the children would like the opportunity to do, we offer a range of different activities each day, such as swimming, ice skating, cinema, and art & crafts.
