Main information
Type of service: Day schools, Residential schools, Schools
Website: http://www.doucecroft.org.uk
Doucecroft School services cater for pupils between 3 and 19 years old with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Pupils are educated in small class groups (6 pupils on average) in each. Our fees reflect the costs of our specialist therapy team and 1 to 1 support where appropriate, other support levels are costed differently.
The school provides a specialised service to meet the unique and complex needs of each pupil. This service is extended to the Further Education Department which specifically caters for 16 to 19 years olds. The Department focuses on developing each student's potential by providing an individual and student-focussed curriculum, incorporating appropriate practical activities and irresistible learning activities using a SCERTS approach.
Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
