Elliott House is situated in Fleet, approximately 5 minutes walk away from the town centre. The home provides single room en-suite accommodation for 9 adults requiring medium to long term care with severe to moderate learning difficulties and challenging and complex needs. It also has a separate day care bungalow in the rear garden. Each service user has their own bedroom decorated to their own personal taste. Three of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor, with the other 6 bedrooms situated on the first floor, where there are two more bathrooms and a small quiet lounge area. The house is ideally situated close to shops, pubs and local facilities. Fleet railway station is approximately a 15 minutes walk away. Individuals within the home have access to various communal living areas, including lounge area, conservatory, a large dining room and spacious kitchen. Within the separate day service bungalow, there are opportunities for service users to engage in a variety of activities, including sensory and arts and crafts, IT and educational, music and the development of social skills. A fully fitted kitchen also affords service users the opportunity to develop their food preparation and domestic skills. Referrals can be made by a Social Worker/Care Manager or directly from parents themselves. However, before assessment can take place the Care Manager acting on behalf of the service user must be consulted.
