Embrace Wigan and Leigh - It's Better Together - Buddy Scheme

Embrace Wigan and Leigh

Main information

Type of service: Befriending/mentoring

It's Better Together matches vulnerable adults with like-minded people so they can build friendships, enjoy their community together and really be part of what makes Wigan great… each other! Never Watch Alone - which specifically connects people who are interested in going to watch Wigan Warriors, Wigan Athletic or Leigh Centurions is now part of It's Better Together'. Our Community Connectors match people together based on their shared interests and the things they are passionate about. We are really keen to make a lasting difference in people's lives. We know that the better connected people are to their community the healthier, safer and happier they are. It's Better Together aims to make the connections that enable people to feel part of something and to empower them to live their dreams and enjoy life to the full. Volunteers may be accepted to work in our service..
