We are a small independent emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) school which caters for 10 children with educational statements of special needs. Pupils are taught in groups of no more than 5 with a minimum ratio of 1 adult to 3 pupils. We admit boys and girls with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). Pupils' personal needs as identified in their statement and 1:1 support is available where needed. We are able to accept pupils at anytime during the school year and are able to accommodate emergency placements. We aim to take pupils who have had negative experiences and become disaffected with education; and build on their strengths, to develop self-confidence and self worth. Domiciliary, emergency, holiday, planned and residential respite services are also open to others outside the school.
