Main information

Type of service: Play and leisure, Respite and short breaks

These breaks are designed to encourage independence and confidence in young people with disabilities by enabling them to access mainstream activities alongside their able-bodied peers. They provide an opportunity for disabled children and young people to have enjoyable social experiences as well as offering an often much needed break for their parents or carers.
