Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

We are a Resource Provision for children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We take children whose needs are very high. We have a soft play and sensory room. The children are supported in an inclusive setting. In their classroom they have a workstation. They are supported 1 to 1 and have two specialised teachers who support the Teaching Assistants (TAs) and write the inclusion plans. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils to work in the school as a class TA. Planned respite services are just for their own pupils. Pupils are accepted within Local Authority (LA) via Special Needs Assessment Panel (SNAP) meetings or special educational needs (SEN) referrals.
