Main information

Type of service: Residential services

Ganwick House is a grand 2 listed manor house that has been converted to 9 bedroom care home for adults with autism and severe learning disability (SLD). Residents benefit from bedrooms, lounge, dining room and kitchen. Outside there are large gardens and an activity centre. Residents are supported to access the local colleges and community to develop their interests and skills. Residents are supported by staff and Accomplish's Speech & Language Therapists to develop augmented communication that provides them with choice and control on how they live their lives. This includes picture timetables, picture social stories and menu choices etc. We provide care pathways enabling individuals living with autism, mental health and learning disabilities a variety of routes to independent living. From our therapeutic campus to residential care and supported living we specialise in providing the right type of care at the right time in a person's life.
