Go For It

Oxford

Main information

Type of service: Day services, Employment services, Outreach

Go For It is an exciting new provision that facilitates social opportunities and personal development to young people aged 16 years and over with Learning Disabilities in Oxfordshire. Unlike traditional day service, they offer a provision that is specific to the service user. Using a Personalised Care Strategy, they believe service users can benefit from choosing what they would like to do. They believe that everyone is different and possess different skills, desires and aspirations. Individulised Timetables are created using activities that service users have chosen and also which are in line with their current and future needs. The timetables will also have some sessions that encourage group and social interaction among peers.
