Hear My Music

Main information

Type of service: Advocacy (general), Interventions and therapies

Hear My Music provides creative music projects for a range of vulnerable people, particularly those individuals with communication difficulties, including those who cannot use language as a communication method. These projects focus on the interaction between the musician and participants. Creative musical interaction can enhance communication, self-expression and confidence, allowing for the development of self advocacy. Hear My Music works across central Scotland with a range of partners including local authorities, voluntary organisations and charities and can also travel throughout the UK for one-off workshops and short intensive projects.
