Heathrow Special Needs Farm is an established charitable concern that provides a community farm environment with facilities designed for people of all ages with various disabilities. It aims to bring people with various disabilities into contact with farm animals and the joy of gardening. As well as providing great pleasure and therapeutic benefits for visitors, activities allow them to develop skills, gain confidence through work experience and gain a great sense of personal achievement. The farm is a member of the Riding for the Disabled Association. The farm welcomes anyone with a special need or disability and their carers, family and friends, but is not open to the public and visits are by appointment only.
