Helping Hands Home Care Nottingham

West Bridgford

Main information

Type of service: Day services, Domiciliary services, Residential services, Supported living schemes

We provide asperger's care and autism support for people aged 18 years and over to live, safely and comfortably, in the home they know and love. At Helping Hands, our carers always put your independence first. We offer two types of services:
- Visiting care is for short, frequent calls throughout the week, where you may choose to have help with going to the shops, get and from work or have your support worker accompany you to social visits with friends. Whether you're looking for extra support at work, at university or regular assistance to help you stay in your own home, we'll match you with a personal assistant or support worker who will help you to continue living at home.
- Whereas our live-in care service is when a carer lives with you to always be on hand for when you require assistance, perhaps if you have a long-term health condition that requires clinical intervention. Live-in carers may become more like a companion to you, rather than a carer. They'll be there to accompany you to social events, lectures and work, enabling you to live life to the full on your terms. With live-in care, you can follow a routine which you are both used to and comfortable with, and still enjoy the support from family members and friends.

Our home care support is always tailored and unique to your needs - whether that's helping with a particular hobby or activity to making sure you're safe within your own home. To understand more about how home care for Asperger's works, speak to one of our friendly advisors on 0330 037 9561.
