Independent and work ready CIC provides a website intended to get those with disabilities and learning difficulties independent and work ready. It includes information on a huge range of topics for adult life and lots of easy to read information. It is especially focused on work and intends to advertise volunteering and employment opportunities. It also includes topics like health, education, relationships, technology, life skills, benefits, tourism, leisure, sport and much more. It intended to help with employability and offers disability mentoring. The site is run by Karen Yates MSc who has Cerebral Palsy is Dyslexic and has worked in SEND.
