Independent Autism Assessments
Warrington
Main information
Type of service: Assessment, Diagnostic services
Website: https://cmpservices.uk/
Changing Minds Psychology Services offers multidisciplinary assessments for the assessment of autism in children, young people and adults. Our assessments adhere to National Institute of Clinical Excellence guidance and are undertaken by a range of clinicians (psychologists, speech therapists and occupational therapists) that have significant experience in assessing and supporting children and adults with social communication difficulties.
Each assessment is child/person-centred and planned in accordance with presenting needs. Our clinicians are ADOS-2, ADI-R and/or DISCO trained and we use a combination of structured questionnaires and observation schedules to determine a child, young person or adult’s needs. We will also liaise with other professionals such as schools, paediatricians and general practitioners to ensure that we gain a clear and accurate understanding of each child/young person or adult’s needs.
