Integrated Treatment Services (ITS) is a multi-disciplinary team of therapists working to support the needs of children and adults with autism or Asperger syndrome and a range of communication needs. ITS assess, review and more importantly treat, providing consistent and highly skilled therapists. They specialise in a range of approaches including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Treatment and Education of Autistic and Communication related handicapped CHildren (TEACCH), Sensory Integration, Talk Tools and others. Therapists look for aspects that motivate the client and build upon those successes. They also offer creative expressive therapies such as music, art and dance/drama therapy. The team work well with any National Health Service (NHS) staff that may be involved, thereby helping clients to achieve as much from NHS therapists as possible. The organisation often runs summer camps for children with autism and supports families and carers with updated information available from their website. Currently based in the Midlands the organisation is expanding across wider areas. Please contact Sarah Davis to discuss your individual needs. Free taster sessions are available please see the website for details.
