JADDS (Jewish Autistic and Deficit Disorders Support)

Whitefield

Main information

Type of service: Local groups

A Jewish support group for parents of children with Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder and associated disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, Conduct disorders, Dyspraxia and Dyslexia. We currently operate one support group on the second Tuesday of every month where all parents or carers (grandparents, relatives etc) are welcome. All groups are run informally by parents for parents and only parents/carers of ADHD/ADD or similiar diagnoses may attend. All meetings are treated with utmost confidentiality. On occasion we invite a guest expert into the meetings for an informal question and answer session so as to provide the members with direct access to advice and more information. If you would like to set up your own group in an area we do not yet cater for, please feel free to contact us and we would be happy to help you get started.
