Jenny Harrison Counselling

Main information

Type of service: Counsellor

Perhaps you are autistic yourself, wondering if you are, or love someone who is.
You might be going through the diagnostic process, or are a family member of someone who is. Perhaps you already have a diagnosis, are self diagnosed or just want to talk to someone about your experiences, free of judgement. Whatever your connection to Autism, I am here to listen to you with respect and to support you. I am trained to counsel Integratively (all the main counselling theories) which means I fit my way of working to you.

I am a qualified, registered counsellor (MBACP) and autism advocate with personal and professional experience of Autism and Sensory Processing.

I am currently seeing clients face to face (Winnall, Winchester) and online.

I offer an initial free 20 minute session where we can talk on the phone or online and you can ask me any questions you may have.  Please contact me to arrange this.

Ongoing sessions are £45. Sessions last for 50 minutes.

Specialist areas: anxiety, autism, anger, loss, regulation (I am trained in polyvagal theory) and young adults (18-25). I currently volunteer counselling young people in Basingstoke and with a bereavement charity (adults; all ages) in Southampton.

I have both training and work experience in Autism and Counselling; please see my website for details

I am experienced working with: anxiety, autism, adhd, depression, self-harm, panic attacks, learning difficulties, ill-health, low self-esteem, suicidal thoughts, over-thinking, exam pressure, sleep, anger, school-refusal, low-mood, gender identity, bereavement, self-exploration, sexuality, bullying, ocd, trauma, stress, family and peer relationships, parental divorce/separation.
