Type of service: Advocacy (general)

Referrals: self-referrals, professionals referrals, family/carers referrals. This can be done via telephone, in writing, drop-ins or website. We offer a range of advocacy services ie crisis advocacy, citizens advocacy, self-advocacy facilitation, the Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) service, Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) service and Appropriate adult service to police station. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the service users. Another disability catered for by the service is dementia.

Specialisms: Generic, Staff and volunteers get autism awareness training

Other specialisms: Challenging behaviour, Child protection, Community care, Criminal justice, Education, Employment, Family law, Learning disability, Mental capacity, Mental health, Welfare benefits, Wills and trusts
