Kentish Town City Farm is a 4 acre site in the middle of a built up area in North London. It houses sheep, goats, horses, cow, chickens & ducks. It offers a wide range of activities that include animal welfare, equine care, therapeutic riding lessons, arts & crafts, farm tours, horticultural activities, environmental activities and cooking. It has a wide range of volunteering opportunities and a focus on supporting children and adults with special needs to help out with the animals in practical & hands on sessions. It is accessible to people with disabilities. If interested in volunteering or accessing therapeutic riding lessons please call the farm directly by telephone. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the service users. Most people with disabilities and conditions are able to access therapeutic riding. Volunteering on the yard is more specific and people need to either be able to work independently or must have a carer/support worker with them.
