Kilronan School is a controlled co-educational interdenominational Special School for up to 80 pupils with severe and/or profound learning difficulties from age 3-19 years. The main focus of the school is to provide each pupil with the fullest opportunities to develop as an individual. Pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) have access to Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH) and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and we offer pupils all the areas of study included in the Northern Ireland Curriculum at a level appropriate to their needs.
