Kindred

Main information

Type of service: Advocacy (general), Family support and information services

Kindred (formerly known as SNIP) provides advocacy and information on services available to children with additional support needs and their carers. You don't always have to have a specific question for us, as we also provide a 'listening ear'. We welcome enquiries from parents, carers, professionals and anyone else with an interest in additional support needs. We do not charge you for information, and we will call you back if you contact us by phone. Our Helpline is open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm on 0131 536 0583 (You can also call the Fife office directly on 01383 420 504). Messages can be left if no one is available to take your call - we will try to get back to you the following working day. We don't currently offer a drop in service but can arrange to meet with parents and caregivers when required.
