Kisharon provides innovative support to Jewish children and adults with complex learning and physical disabilities, their families, teachers and other professionals within a nurturing Orthodox Jewish environment. Kisharon has a forward thinking, patient centred approach to working with learning difficulties and associated physical problems, teaching life skills and enabling greater independence to those we help. Our outreach work creates valuable disability awareness, changing people's perceptions of those with learning difficulties. Our services include: Nursery (30 spaces, ages 2-4 years), School (45 places, 4-19 years), College (16-24 years), Adult Day Support, Supported Living & Employment Assistance. Kisharon provides a safe future for those in our community who are most vulnerable. Our vision is that people with learning difficulties will live in a world where they have the same opportunities as their mainstream peers. Our mission is to support each unique person so they can progress, achieve independence, enjoy life and to be included in the communities in which we live, through meaningful vocation, and a fulfilling social life..
