Levitt Mill & Barn

Priory Adult Care

Main information

Type of service: Residential services

We provide support for people with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. Levitt Mill & Barn is a listed building with its own history. It is situated in the centre of its own grounds in a peaceful woodland setting at the side of a small stream, on the outskirts of a local village. From our grounds we have direct access into the local countryside and can walk to Roche Abbey, a local tourist attraction. A short walk leads to a paddock belonging to Levitt Mill & Barn, where some local people keep their horses. Our ultimate goal is to support everyone to live as independently as possible. We do this by encouraging and supporting people to develop their daily living and social skills in a safe and homely environment. Our approach to support: Everyone is involved in designing their own person-centred plans, which are tailored to cater for each individual's needs and provide the correct level of support required. They also enable people to make their own choices about the future and the steps they will take to enable them to reach their goals.
