Type of service: Day services

The Links Project was established by Caerphilly County Borough Council Social Services in July 2004 and is based in Wyllie. This service supports adults with learning disabilities who have complex needs including autism and behaviours that may challenge. The Links service provides support on an individual basis developing opportunities for service users to access integrated community based resources which meet their assessment of needs. Service users are supported through individual behaviour management plans and programmes which are designed in order to achieve positive outcomes for each individual. Interventions and approaches used involve structured activities to meet individual need. Referrals are made by Social Services care managers via a Management Reference Group.
